About us

Specta(c)tor is a forum theatre company based in Geneva.

Its aim is to create participatory spaces where everyone can express themselves, share their experiences and collectively reflect on solutions to social, cultural and institutional challenges, such as racism and sexism.

To this end, it primarily uses forum theatre as a tool for intervention and dialogue, drawing inspiration from the approaches of the Theatre of the Oppressed.

Sessions can be conducted in French or English and draw on both verbal and non-verbal language, particularly through image theatre.

Specta(c)tor offers forum theatre performances, workshop series and bespoke projects, tailored to a wide variety of educational, social, cultural, institutional and professional contexts.
